The Busanga Hydroelectric Site located in the DRC

Recognized by the government of DRC, MagEnergy is committed to support and develop energy sources and infrastructure of developing countries. The Busanga hydro site will be another milestone to the MagEnergy development and will continue to have significant growth and impact when in full production.

The Busanga hydro site has been the subject of previous technical studies and the site is expected to support the production of about 250 megawatts of electricity. MagEnergy has collected and reviewed existing technical studies and has retained Ingerop of Johannesburg who has now completed the feasibility study work. The feasibility included civil engineering, hydro mechanical, electrical equipment. Final environment impact studies are pending. MagEnergy is reviewing partnership opportunities and financing alternatives.
