First New Entrant to the Potash Industry
The Mengo Project is a greenfield potash project under development in the Republic of Congo (ROC), with an initial annual design capacity of 600,000 tonnes of potash.
The future operation is expected to be the world’s first new entrant into an industry which has little new greenfield supply forecast over the next five years. Additionally, the Project’s feasibility study predicts that FOB potash costs will be amongst the lowest in the world. Due to high financial barriers to entry, and a number of distinct competitive advantages, MagMinerals is positioned to generate significant returns for MagIndustries’ shareholders in the coming years.
